Scholarship Opportunities
The Mississippi Funeral Directors Foundation Scholarship is an invaluable membership benefit. This program allows us to help further the education for those that wish to enter the funeral industry and encourage fresh, new talent to our funeral homes so that we may carry on the legacy of "The Caring Professionals." Please share this opportunity with students in mortuary school!
The MFDA Foundation awards THREE $3,000 scholarships annually to qualified Mississippi students in Mortuary Sciences. One of the three awards given is in memory of Willis Swain. The scholarship will recognize the understanding of and dedication to the philosophy and standards of funeral service of deserving mortuary science students.

Award winners will be invited to receive their scholarships at the MFDA Membership Meeting during the MFDA Mid-Winter Seminar.
