- Send check and a copy of Trust contract to MFDA
The concept of preneed trusting has been around for many years. The Mississippi Funeral Directors Association Preneed Funeral Trust Program was established in 1996 to fill the needs of MFDA members in dealing with prefinanced funeral arrangements. The goal is to provide funeral professionals with a competitive rate of return, competent and quick service, and relief from the administrative burden associated with record keeping and government reporting. And the Trust is administered by MFDA Services, Inc. with no fees to you!!

In addition to administrative support, you can expect a sound, stable investment portfolio. We will invest your funds predominantly in quality, fixed income securities. A portion of the funds will also be placed in equities or mutual funds. These investments are used in an effort to enhance the yield available on fixed income securities. The mix of investments will change in accordance with financial and economic conditions.
Many funeral directors have chosen to transfer funds to the MFDA Preneed Trust from other depositories. We welcome these as rollovers and will assist you with the necessary documentation.
